In addition to being certain that your project will be handled professionally, we take great care in selecting our team members. Your comfort with the entire RJ Perry Construction Team is as important to us as the quality of our work. In order to achieve the quality and comfort our clients have come to expect from our work, all of our team members must first go through a rigorous hiring process that is outlined below, to ensure only the best in the business will come to work for us.

First, all applicants are screened through a telephone interview and two personal skilled trade interviews. These assessments consist of questions pertaining to years of experience, tools used, the type of work the candidate has done, etc. They also meet with the owner/carpentry foreman and project manager, as well as other team members, to see how well the potential employee fits in with the rest of the company.

Next, we require a drug test, a thorough background check, including driving/CDL records, a credit and criminal check. All of which must be of satisfactory results before the applicant will be hired.

Once hired, all new team members go through a 90 day training period that consists of working with other experienced employees of R.J. Perry Carpentry in order to become familiar with our company policies and procedures. Then and only then the prospective employee will become a qualified R.J. Perry Construction Team Member.
